After graduating Cornell Law School, I moved to Louisiana to join the Orleans Public Defenders. For years I fought tooth and nail against sometimes insurmountable odds to try to even the power imbalance between my clients and the criminal justice system.
When we moved to Los Angeles I shifted my focus to civil litigation. When it became clear that all three of my children had special needs, I began to intensively study special education law.
This law firm is the culmination of my years of trying to balance my love of fighting for the underdog with the demands of advocating for my children. Now I want to use my unique set of skills to help you get your children the education and services they deserve.
